As far as I understand though, being cisgender simply means that your gender identity corresponds with the sex you were born. So, you can be a cis woman and a lesbian or bisexual. I’m the latter.

You can be a married, cis woman who’s bi or pansexual without ever ‘living it out’ and I don’t believe it takes away or undermines any of the strides made by the LGBTQIA community.

Yes, certainly you have privileges, (as do I) but that doesn’t make your thoughts and feelings less valid.
